We are sad to announce that on May 7, 2022 we had to say goodbye to George Emil Van Verdegem (Strathmore, Alberta). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Verdegem and Martha Van Verdegem; his wife Mary; his brothers, Bill and John (Helen); his grandson Jonathan; and his great grandchild Destiny.
He is survived by: his children, Douglas (Karen), Diana (Wyman) and Chris Dugdale (Bev); his grandchild Cassidy (Matthew); his son Kevin Dugdale; his grandchild Braiden; his daughter Krysta (Kyle); his stepgrandson Steven St (Janelle); his sister Mary Van Verdegem; and also Grayson.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in George's memory directly to the Sacred Heart Church building fund (23 Strathmore Lakes Way, Strathmore, AB T1P 1L7) or the Strathmore Handibus (Box 2533, Strathmore, AB T1P 0H3) which was very important to him as well. (Please include George's name on the cheques).
