Krista Dawn McCaughey Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 16, 2026, at the age of 48, Krista Dawn McCaughey (Strathmore, Alberta) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Vera, Sam Miller, Anna and Hans Eriksen; her uncles, Gary Smith and Bud; and her aunt Muriel.

She is survived by: her son Sam; her husband Chris; her parents, Leif Eriksen and Wanda Eriksen; her brother Nick Eriksen (Sacha); and her nieces and nephews, Aiden, Abigail and Theo.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 6th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 300 1 Ave, Strathmore, AB T1P1B3.

The family has asked that any donations made in Krista's name go to Adoption Options.
