He was predeceased by: his parents, Tadashi "Henry" Kondo and Matsui Kondo; his wife Echi Takaguchi; and his siblings, Lily (Tetsuo Nakaguchi), Joan (Mas Nakamura) and Don (Nancy Kondo).
He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon (Rick Plante) and Colleen; his granddaughters, Niki (Phil Deap) and Lauren (Brendan Farris); his great grandchild Arlo; and his sisters, Lucy (Bob Nakashima), Nancy (Hiro Takeda) and June (Bill Terakita). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
