He is survived by: his children, Penny of Nanaimo, Rod (Jackie) of Dewinton and Carolyn (Byron) of Eastend; and his grandchildren, John (Brittany), Kirbi (Steven), Roberta (Jared), Jocelyn (Travis) and Rosie (Griffin).
