He was predeceased by: his parents, Smith Dodsworth and Gertrude Dodsworth; and his siblings, Wilf (Rose), Kathleen and Dolly (Cliff Smith).

He is survived by: his wife Verdella; his sons, Laurie (Carol), Danny (June) and Mark (Laura); his grandchildren, Kelsey (Wayne), Kevin (Britany), Lindsay (Travis), Keith Gadsby (Jessie), Kim Rody (Rob), Kris Hoff (Willis), Megan and Caleb; his great grandchildren, Keaton, Beaudon, Hudson, Rhett, Sawyer, Seraph, Gerry, Lillianne, Genevieve, Elizabeth, Victoria, Donovan, Frances and Gadsby; and his brother-in-law Arnold Usenik (Lorna). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
