We announce the death of Ann Pettem (Strome, Alberta), born in Killam, Alberta, who passed away on September 8, 2026, at the age of 83. Ann will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Laura Spohn and Ludwig Spohn; her significant other Jim; and her son Gordon. She is survived by: her children, Tom, Laurie (Casey) and Shirlee (Ken). She is also survived by six grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Strome Commuinty Hall (51 Ave - 53 Street, Strome, Alberta T0B 4H0).
