Alastair Wattie Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alastair Wattie of Sundre, Alberta, who passed away on March 4, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alastair Wattie to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Esten Wattie and Bessie Wattie; and his brother Rob Wattie. He is survived by: his siblings, Bette Anderson, Jamie Merrell and Merrill Wattie; and his children, Allan Wattie (Debra), Terry Wattie (Denise), Kevin Wattie, Brent Wattie, Raven Harline, Pamela Wattie and Lynn Lafreniere (Billy). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the James River Hall.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made directly to the Plus One (Emergency Hamper) at McDougal Chapel, Sundre.
