We announce the death of Wade Ackerman (Sundre, Alberta), who passed away on June 8, 2026, at the age of 45. Wade will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his mother Laurel Ackerman; his brother Troy Ackerman; and his grandparents, Morley, Olive Ackerman, Raymond, Delores McMullen and Wayne Doyle.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa; his children, Alexa and Aceson; his father David Ackerman; his parents-in-law, John Nylund and Shari Cummins (Kim); his sister Jayne Ackerman; his sister-in-law Tessa McGillicky (Cody); his brothers, Lee Ackerman (Jenna) and Dusty Ackerman (Tammy); his brother-in-law Glen Nylund; his nieces and nephews, Rylee, Justin, Talon, Roan, River, Myles, Deegan, Amie, Montana, Raya, Hallie and Jenna; and his grandparents, Darlene Doyle and George Nylund.
