He was predeceased by: his grandson Darren Epp; his siblings, Griet Solomans, Rients Dykstra, Frank Dykstra, Jenny Horneman, Pete Dykstra and Clara Westerhoud; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Solomans, Dick Horneman, Tim Westerhoud, Carl Westerhoud, Shirley Dykstra and Anneke Dykstra.
He is survived by: his significant other Ybeltje "Yvonne" Veenstra; his children, Andrew (Bev), Bob Jr. (Lorraine), Rick (Lori), Wendy Karsten (Ivan), Ted (Luci) and Janice Lassen (Paul); his sister-in-law Sylvia Dykstra; Hilda Westerhoud. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
