He was predeceased by : his wife Florence Kunz; his parents, Otto Kunz and Martha Kunz; his brother Marvin Kunz; his in-laws, Buck and Mary Turnbull; his brothers-in-law, Lee and Lynn Turnbull; and his nephews, Troy Turnbull and Larry Kunz.

He is survived by : his children, Tiwana Dean (Mike), Connie Kunz, Clarice VanHuizen (Don), Shannon Wolskyj and Rick Kunz (Gena). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and many nephews, nieces and cousins.
