He is survived by: his wife Iris Pauls; his children, Marcia Pauls of Taber, Ken Pauls of Taber and Lorna Derksen (Jim) of Taber; his grandchildren, Jason Guminy, Allison Pauls (Henry Banman), Jamie Valgardson (Joe), Brandon Derksen, Sarah Brown (Matt) and Sandra Fehr (Cornelius); his great grandchildren, Dahlia Hemenway-Brown and Eli Valgardson; his sisters, Anne Traber, Lydia Sawatsky (Alvin) and Janet Braun; and his siblings-in-law, Eva Pauls, Anne Pauls and Leonard Vaselenak.
