He was predeceased by: his mother Vera Phillipe; his grandson Mark Willcock; and his parent-in-law Willem. He is survived by: his wife Margo; his children, Christopher Arp of Ottawa, Dylan, Kyle and Alan VandenBroek (Catriona) of Sherwood Park; his grandchildren, Rebecca, Lucas, Cayman and Brenda Murchison of Taber; his children, Cody, Alexander and Kim Bekkering (David) of Taber; his grandchildren, Natasha, Samuel, Ashton, Andrew W., Tyler, Joshua, Maya and Michael VandenBroek of Calgary; his siblings, Louise Rochon, Suzanne Robb and Paul Phillipe; and his siblings-in-law, Willem Spruyt (Tanya), Jack Spruyt (Barb) and Mary Etheridge (Leonard). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
