He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Russell and Evelyn Russell; his wife Phyllis Ann Simpson; his grandson Darrell; his great grandchild Aiden; and his siblings, Dave and Betty Ann.
He is survived by: his children, Dave Russell (Charlyne) of Lethbridge, Doug Russell (Ethel) of Lethbridge, Andrea Hertz (Alex Thomson) of Coaldale and Jennifer Latham (Rick) of Lethbridge; and his grandchildren, Chanell (Tanner), David (Melissa), Michael, Mandy (Matt), Karly (Wyat), Ryan (Kayla), Kenzie (Jesse), Raegan and Kinley. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
