He was predeceased by : his wife Leona Barbara Mehlhaff; his parents, Adolf Mehlhaff and Ella Mehlhaff; his brother Fred Mehlhaff; and his son-in-law John Koop.
He is survived by : his daughter Lori Koop (family: Eugene Mehlhaff Jr., Cindy Philo, Shane Mehlhaff, Duke Mehlhaff, Cathy Smith) of Sparwood. He is also survived by family; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
