It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerrit Berends of Taber, Alberta, who passed away on August 27, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Albert, Anjo and Sandra. He is survived by: his wife Nellie Berends; his children, Andre (Yolanda), Bernie (Christina), Mike (Trish), Don (Judith), Trish (Jeff) and Tracey (Mick); his grandchildren, Katie (Graham), Kimberly (Mark), Jordan (Bethanie), Jessica, Elyssa (Andrew), Matthew, Olivia, Ella, Leah, Cohen and Hanna; his brothers, John (Hilda) and Martin (Greta); Leo. He is also survived by his sons, daughters, grandchildren and great grandchild.
