He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn Fletcher; his parents, Ken Fletcher and Wanda Fletcher; his brother Allen Fletcher; his nephew Aaron Jespersen; his in-laws, Chris and Jessy Riis; his brothers-in-law, Jack Riis, Roger Riis and George Lowe; and his daughter-in-law Wanda Jean Graber.
He is survived by: his daughter Janine Paterson (Tom, family: Candis Derksen, Stacy Peleskey) of Taber; his grandchildren, Nixon and Aubree; his children, Daina Paterson (David Guzman) and Judy Astalos (Andy, family: Ryan Astalos) of Sylvan Lake; his grandchildren, Haylen and Farah; his daughter Samantha Priegnitz (Chad); his grandchildren, Lucas and Ayla; his daughter Megan Astalos (Gavin Mullan); his grandchildren, Kacey and Mikaela; his son David Fletcher (Heather Hamilton, family: Devin Fletcher) of Red Deer; his grandchildren, Sofia, Eiza and Adalynn; his child Shawn Fletcher (Brittany); his grandchildren, Zander, Jazlin and Zayla; his children, Dallen Baugh (Amal, family: Brooklyn, Tala) and Kayla Baugh (Josh Knutson); his sister Arlene Lowe; his sisters-in-law, Cecile Jespersen (Roger), Judy Riis and Roberta Robson; Daniel Derksen, Kathy Rempel, Tabitha Astalos and Blanca Fletcher. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.
Grant took great pride in his work, knowing each harvest was not only a good crop, it was also a contribution to the wellbeing of others.
