She was predeceased by: her husband Mike Powell; her parents, Mary Francis and William Frederick Carley; her husband Michael Powell; her daughter Patricia Powell; her brother Lyle Carley; and her sister-in-law Hazel Carley.

She is survived by: her children, Judith and David. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and one great great grandchild along with numerous spouses.
