With sadness, we share the passing of Laura Johnson in Taber, Alberta. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Matthews and Katie Matthews; her parents-in-law, Sidney and Clara Johnson; her siblings, Kathleen, Helen and Gough; and her siblings-in-law, Ron, Tom, Leonard "Nip", Clifford "Bud" and Loretta.
She is survived by: her husband Derek; her sister Fran; her sister-in-law Evelyn; her children, Craig (Susan), Kit (Bill), Shelley (Bob), Tammy (Dwayne) and Lionel (Laura); her grandchildren, Derek, Adrian (Jesse), Andrew (Emily), Shea (Helena), Meghan, Kieran, Nigel and William (Lauren); and her great grandchild Lily. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. Theodore's Anglican Church (5120 44 Ave, Taber, AB T1G1A9).
