She was predeceased by: her grandchildren, Hannah, Jack, William, Ivy, Dorothy and Milo; her parents, Hendrik Veldman and Wiek Veldman; her brother-in-law Louie Tams; and her nephew Jordan Senneker.
She is survived by: her spouse Sid; her children, Jesse (Sarah), Erin (Scott), Joey (Rachel), Kami, Levi and Oskar; her grandchild Baby Tams; her siblings, Ed Veldman (Carol), Pete Veldman, John Veldman (Sylvia), Rob Veldman (Heidi), Margaret Senneker (Colin), Alice Prosper (Henry) and Tim Veldman (Mara); her in-laws, John and Dorothy Tams; her cousins, Betty and Carol; and also, Mickey Van Seters (Jake), Harvey Tams (Angela), Sharon Tams, Gord Tams (Ina), Mike Tams (Corinna), Rick Tams (Tasha), Jessica Van Bostelen (Kent) and Rob Tams (Catherine). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
