It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Saruwatari in Taber, Alberta, who passed away on December 31, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Tak Saruwatari (Eve); her parents, Shinkichi "George" and Misu Okamoto; and her siblings, Muss (Marion), Sam (Tatsue), Haddie, Tamo, Stum and Irene.

She is survived by: her children, Kathy Kaga (Richard) of Vancouver and David Saruwatari (Bríd) of Carlow, Ireland; her grandsons, Conor, Declan and Ronan; her nephew Kerry Ishida; her sisters-in-law, Sady Tagami, Joyce Saruwatari, Jeannie Takahashi and Okamoto; Zoom. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and many friends.
