He was predeceased by: his wife Sylvia Marie Rogers; and his parents, Katherine Hazel and Waldo "Chubb" Hazel. He is survived by: his children, Sheila Wesley (Darren) of Calgary, Greg Rogers (Mary) of Vauxhall, Carolee Wentz (Rick) of Taber, Barry Rogers (Sonya) of Edmonton and Lana Kanomata (Rob) of Taber. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
