Shurron Powell Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 19, 2024, Shurron Powell in Taber, Alberta passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Ralph Shaffer; her stepfather Howard Traweek; and her grandparents, Hope, Johnny Shaffer, Ella and Casey Ralph.

She is survived by: her husband David Powell of Taber; her children, Brittany Valgardson (Jordan), Cassidy Powell and Blake Powell (Jennae Mertins); her grandchildren, Nash, Navy and Vaeda; her mother Carole Traweek; and her siblings, Todd Shaffer and Joddi Scriven (Darcy). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Shurron's name may be made directly to the charity of one's personal choice.
