He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Dunphy and Bernice Dunphy; his brother David Dunphy; and his siblings-in-law, Ken Phillips, Dalene Phillips and Betty Dunphy.

He is survived by: his wife Melinda "Mindy" Dunphy; his daughters, Jessica McNiven of Lethbridge and Stephanie McNiven (Jason Racine) of Lethbridge; his grandson Griffin Anthony Mack; his siblings, Tim Dunphy, Robert Dunphy (Michelle), Deborah Doucet (Alfie) and Lisa Cockburn (Blair); his sister-in-law Patricia Dunphy; Dale, Dorothy Rombough, Randy Rombough and Ricky Rombough. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
