As we bid Usko farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. He is survived by: his wife Helmi Murtonen; and his children, Markku Murtonen (Pirkko) of Campbell River, Marja Kostamo (Tuomo) of Taber, Miriam Demjanczuk (Wilson) of Naples, Mike Murtonen of Sault St, Vesa Murtonen (Jackie) of Campbell River and Usko Murtonen (Gwen) of Campbell River. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Christian Reformed Church (3902 Heritage Dr, Taber, AB T1G1A2).
