With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Theodore John Powlik (Thorsby, Alberta), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Theodore left this world on October 16, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew and Katherine; and his siblings, Eugene, Eileen and Diane.
He is survived by: his wife Sophie; his sons, Darcy (Sharon) and Greg (Gail); his grandchildren, Brandon (Sarah), Carson Kaylyn (Lauren), Curtis, Casey and Lindsey; and his great grandchildren, Kade, Lane and Chandler. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Ted may be made to The Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation or St. John The Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church.
