He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Morgan and Earl Morgan; and his siblings, Sharon, Diana and Errol "Dale".

He is survived by: his children, James Earl (Jackie) and Heather Rae (Garth); his wife Florence Ziegler; his grandchildren, Ryan (Danysha), Brady (Victoria), Jesse, Chase (Brettyn) and Paige; his great grandchildren, Emilia and Ethan; and his sister Susan Guttridge (Ken).

A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Three Hills Community Centre (212 Main St, Three Hills, AB T0M2A0). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Carbon Cemetery.
