He was predeceased by: his parents, John Maurer and Dorothy Maurer; and his brother-in-law Gordon Suchy. He is survived by: his siblings, Dwight (Bonnie), Don (Josephine), Linda Suchy and Clayton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, great-great-nephews, relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Salem Mennonite Church (5107 50th St, Tofield, AB T0B4J0).
