It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eldon Hoflin in Tofield, Alberta, who passed away on May 19, 2026, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ethel; his parents, Arthur Hoflin and Gea Hoflin; and his siblings, Lorene, Sonny, Rod and Dorothy.
He is survived by: his children, Darren (Shannon), Trevor (Adele) and Valerie Rickett (John); his grandchildren, Samantha (Jay), Justin (McKenna), Rachel (Joel), Ericka (Kohen), Tamara (Joseph), Carter, Claire (Kevin), Eveline and Caleb; and his siblings-in-law, Ellen Hoflin, Christy Ferguson and Floyd Taylor (Anne). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A burial will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Kingman Cemetery. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the House Ministries Church (5830 51 St, Tofield, AB T0B 4J0).
Memorial donations may be made to the Alberta Lung or the University Hospital Foundations.
