John Wood Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Wood (Tofield, Alberta), who passed away on July 17, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy John leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though John may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his sisters, Sal, Evvie, Eedie and Deed. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann; his children, Cathy and Ted (Debbie); and his stepchildren, Owen and Peri (Glen). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Tofield Community Church (4619 57 Ave, Red Deer, AB T4N4S1).
