Walter Neufeld Obituary
It is with sadness that we share the passing of Walter Neufeld in Tofield, Alberta. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Neufeld and Cornelia Neufeld (Nelly); his former wife Selma Sara Regehr; his siblings, Cornelius (Noreen), Arthur, Erna Braul (Walter) and Elsie Reichenbach (Allan); and his stepgrandsons, Josh and Chad Swanson.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Shumaker; his children, Gayleen Erickson (Darren), Dwayne (Judy), Rick (Cindy) and Valerie Huebert (Dave); his stepson Lee Swanson (Kim); and his brother Elmer Neufeld (Jennifer). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Tofield Community Church (4619 57 Ave, Tofield, AB T0B4J0).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations are gratefully accepted to the Alzheimer Society.
