He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Holowath and Pauline Melnychyn; his in-laws, Frank and Cecelia Hudecek; his sisters, Mary Soloski and Stella Cassidy; his uncle Joseph; his aunt Mary Fetchyshyn; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Hudecek, Gerry Hruska, Rudy Soloski and Al Cassidy.

He is survived by: his wife Pat Holowath; his children, Bradley (Jacci), Paula Brand (Randy), Bart (Terri) and Kent (Jill); his grandchildren, Meghan, Holly (Dayton), Justin, Mary Allyson Holowath, Carter Brand, Remington (Jeanette), Colt Holowath, Garret (Jenny), Brett and Amanda Holowath; his sister Rose Grant (John); his sibling's children, Michael, Patricia, Alan, Janet Soloski, Blair, Bryan, Doug Cassidy, Craig, David and Kirby Hruska; and his cousins, Richard Fetchyshyn, Helen Gordan and Tillie Bruneski. He is also survived by his three great grandchildren.
