He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Peters and Katharina Peters; his siblings, Helen (Abe), Marge (Jake), John and Fred; his brothers-in-law, Jake and Bill; and his daughter-in-law Cindy.

He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Bryon (Tammy), Brenda, Lorne, Cheryl (Ken) and Kathleen (Kelly); his great grandchildren, Kaleb (Karinne), Scott (Alexandra), Kirstyn, Briar (Tiana), Dylan (Mandy), Ryan (Tyawna), Cole, Matthew (Janet), Daniel (Catherine), Lauren, Justin (Alisha), Claira (Seth) and Christopher; his siblings, Chris, Mary, Irvin (Anne), Bill (Gloria), Liz (Henry), George (Helen), Ed (Eve), Abe (Marge), Anne (Bill), Eva and Corny (Laurie); and his sister-in-law Ann.
