Elsie leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Elsie’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Elsie will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Grabas and Stella Grabas; and her brother Eddie (Gloria). She is survived by: her husband Orest; her children, Clarence (Cynthia) and Cindy Baydala (Tim); her grandchildren, Deeyana Wilkins (Isaiah) and Marko Baydala; and her sister Victoria Grabas (Mary). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A prayer will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church (5705 51 St, Vegreville, AB T9C1H8). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to the "Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church – Two Hills, Alberta" or "Two Hills Hospital Auxiliary Society.".
