We bid farewell to Kenneth George Bodnar of Two Hills, Alberta, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 19, 2025 at the age of 59. Kenneth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: the mother of his children Sandra McGilvery; his sons, Baby Boy Bodnar and George Joseph Bodnar; his parents, George Bodnar and Anne Bodnar; his son-in-law Brayton Jackson Sr.; his granddaughter Cherish Jackson; and his pet Harley.
He is survived by: his close friend Bonnie Wilde; his children, Curt McGilvery (Sonya), Ashley McGilvery, Kendra Bodnar (Tyra), Kassandra Bodnar (Jamie) and Kerricia Bodnar; his grandchildren, Keirra, Kalayna, Brayton Jr., Kamden, Brayleigh, Brayson, Kayin and Brayden; and his siblings, Gordon Bodnar (Gladys), Tony Bodnar (Judy), Christine Bodnar-VanderHorst (Cliff), Zen Bodnar (Lila) and George Bodnar (Maryann).
A wake was held on Monday, May 26th 2025 at 4:00 PM and at 5:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Aiywakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake Cree Nation.
