She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gordey and Madeline Gordey; and her siblings, Walter Gordey and Violet Hayes (Art). She is survived by: her husband Ernie; her children, Kim Peters (Gord), Shaun Rosychuk and Monica Rosychuk (George Kowalchuk); her grandchild Shayna; her children, Lillian (Sarah) and Koen; her sisters, Lily Serna (Victor) and Dianne Lenz; her sister-in-law Phyllis Gordey; and her close friends, Leona and Harry Ewanchuk. She is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Autumn Rose Funeral Home (5036 51 Ave, Vegreville, AB T9C1M1).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the "Diabetes Canada" or "Alzheimer Society of Alberta.".
