He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Hadley and Olga Hadley. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Blaine, Heather and Kimberley; his grandchildren, Hayley and James; and his siblings, Richard (Marlene), Reginald (Lil), Harold (Jill), Tom, Jean, Joyce (Wayne) and Edna (Edward). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Donations are gratefully accepted to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Palliative Unit at NRGH.
