He was predeceased by : his parents, Steve Kobylnyk and Anne Kobylnyk; his sisters, Joanne Andrishak (Peter) and Mary Ruzycki (Paul); and his niece Patricia Andrishak.

He is survived by : his wife Janet; his son Rick (Amanda); his grandson Michael; his sister Lassie Ewaniuk (Roland); and his nephew Darren (Courtney).
