With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Etta Vinet (Vegreville, Alberta), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Etta left this world on October 11, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Laventure and Monette Laventure. She is survived by: her children, Darryl Vinet (Bert), Neil Vinet (Dianne), Glen Vinet (Odia) and Lisa Myroon (Larry); her daughter-in-law Pat Vinet; her grandchildren, Trevor (Olivia), Travis (Nikki), Chelsea (Kim) of Trina, J. J., Meaghan (Mosin), Erin (Drae), Malcolm (Meriska), Kaitlin (Darren), Courtney (Nicole), Jabulani, Tyler and Jessica (Mitchell); her great grandchildren, Vienna, Ella, Zoey, Ivy, Noah, Amelie, Ayla, Naim, Remi and Henry; her brother Leo Laventure; her siblings-in-law, Grace Willis and Fred Gau; her husband Mac; her son Alan; her grandchildren, Graden and Kristie; and her siblings, Johnny, Arthur, Victor Laventure and Margaret Bolan. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 3:30 PM at the St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church (5437 43 St, Vegreville, AB T9C1C8).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Etta's name can be made to the "Palliative Care Unit" at St. Joseph's Hospital in Vegreville through the Akasu Palliative Care Society online via Benevity or CanadaHelps or the "St. Mary's Hospital" in Camrose via the Hospice Society of Camrose and District by mailing a cheque to Box 1891, Camrose, Alberta., T4V 1X8, dropping it off at their office at 5415-49 Ave, or donating online through CanandaHelps or the ATB website.
