He was predeceased by : his father Zoltan. He is survived by : his fiancé Lynn Spencer; his children, Gordon, Steven and Barbara; his grandson Dawson; his mother Heidi Koleszar (Hedwig); and his siblings, Hedwig, Laszlo, Judy, Edith and Lynne. He is also survived by other numerous relatives and friends.

“My brother Gord had a red Yamaha motorcycle as his first vehicle. I was only about 5 years old at the time and he refused to take me for a ride because he didn't have a helmet that would fit my head. I was really disappointed and when I got to be a young adult myself, my first motorcycle was a red Yamaha just like he had, only it was a turbo! I understand Gord bought a Goldwing not long ago. I won't ask for a ride this time. I will ask my brother tonight to ride it in the heavens above.”
