With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Helen Zubreski of Vegreville, Alberta, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Helen left this world on November 25, 2025 at the age of 96, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Nestor Zubreski; her parents, Henry Makarowski and Annie Makarowski; her siblings, Rose Gabruck (Peter), Marie Kowal (Bill), Paul, Peter (Millie), Joe and Billy; and her sister-in-law Joyce.
She is survived by: her brother Russel; and her sisters-in-law, Beverly and Jackie. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of St. Vladimir (5146 48 Ave, Vegreville, AB T9C1M7).
