He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Marie Samoil; his children, Peter Samoil, Christine Samoil-Schelstraete and Gregory Samoil; his grandchildren, Michael Samoil Jr., Samantha Foster (Dave Foster), Alyssa Samoil, Tianna Schelstraete and Austin Schelstraete; his great grandchild Max Foster; his sisters, Margaret Yuskow (late Bill Yuskow), Vivian Samoil and Marion Pylypchan (Ken Pylypchan); Colin Schelstraete.
