He was predeceased by: his father Frederick Gibbs; and his brother Fernie. He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Bruce (Colleen), Blaine (Jo-Lynn) and Brandi Malarsky (Darren); his grandchildren, Jake, Kolby and Pailey; and his sisters, Beverly Duncan (Al) and Teresa Gibbs. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the "Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta.".
