She was predeceased by: her husband Nick J.; her parents, Maria Hlus and Andrew Hlus; her siblings, Bill (Mary), Steve, Nestor, Albert, Annie Zorniak (Metro) and Jean Mokry (John); her brother-in-law Ed Saik; and her siblings' children, Cynthia Hlus, Diane Sorochan, Elvin Mokry, Ernest Mokry and Chris Zorniak.
She is survived by: her sister Genia Saik; and her sisters-in-law, Olga Hlus, Lovie Hlus and Elsie Hlus. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Church (Innisfree), or Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church (Vegreville), or Divine Liturgy.
