Sheila Melenka Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Sheila Melenka (Vegreville, Alberta) is shared. Sheila, born on May 17, 1959, passed away on August 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Louis Naeth; her stepfather Johnny Chilibecki; her son Trever Naeth; and her husband Allan Melenka. She is survived by: her daughter Brandy Naeth (Adam); her grandchildren, Heather Topolinski, Sydney Topolinski, Tori Topolinski, Baylee Grenier and Hudson Grenier; her mother Ruth Chilibecki; and her siblings, Linda Dyck (Bruce), Karen Sexsmith (Danny), Tony Naeth (Milka) and Don Naeth (Kim). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Autumn Rose Funeral Home (5036 51 Ave, Vegreville, AB T9C1M1).

Memorial donations may be to the "Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation", "Jumpstart", or the "Heart & Stroke Foundation.".
