It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Dubitz (Vegreville, Alberta), who passed away on October 25, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley Dubitz to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Victoria and Peter; her son-in-law Byron; her brothers, Willis and Andy; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Ann, Marty and Don.
She is survived by: her husband George; her children, Genevieve Franklin (Keith), Leslie Dubitz, Benny Dubitz (Carol), Joleen Lutic and Shane Dubitz; her grandchildren, Amanda (Kyle), Kyle (Emily), John, Sarah, Shaun, Tristan, Andrew, Nicholas, Kierstin and Ryle; her great grandchildren, Avery, Holly, Clara and Amelia; and her siblings, Marvin (Emily), John (Doris), Georgina, Violet, Ernie and Darlene.
A prayer will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Park Memorial Chapel (4814 50 St, Vegreville, AB T9C1L8). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Romanian Orthodox Church.
