Colin Beattie Obituary
We announce the death of Colin Beattie of Vermilion, Alberta, who passed away on October 5, 2026, at the age of 82. Colin will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Beattie; his parents, Thomas Beattie and Gertrude Beattie; and his brother Derek Beattie. He is survived by: his children, Darryl Beattie (Jennifer), Kim Martin (Brent) and Craig Beattie; his grandchildren, Jaylin, Colten Beattie, Sydney, Joel and Aiden Martin; his siblings, Joe Beattie (Mary), Renee Hartwell and Doreen Carey; and his sisters-in-law, Nancy Beattie and Marilyn Ure. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Vermilion Regional Centre (5702 College Dr, Vermilion, AB T9X1K5).
