He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Lovell and Dorothy Lovell; his sister Mona Lovell; his nephew Zachery Lovell; and his sister-in-law Virginia Lovell.

He is survived by: his siblings, Anthony Lovell of Edmonton, Loretta Cerny of Barrhead, Valli Stauffer (Donnie) of Barrhead, Eva Armstrong (Darryl) of Vermilion and Orville Lovell (Kathy) of Clandonald; and his siblings' children, Christine Lovell (Lloyd), Dana Lovell (Angie), Leahan Schaffrick (Jason), Troy Cerny (Melanie), Mark Holowaychuk (Sandy), Dawn Cramer (Robin), Blaine Armstrong, Katelin Armstrong (Brett), Tiffany Dery (Dominic) and Hillary Brodbin (Curtis). He is also survived by Numerous Great Nieces, Nephews and Great Great Nephew as well extended family and friends.
