She was predeceased by: her husband Mason Curtis; her son Dr. Lyle Curtis; her parents, Conrad Svean and Olive Svean; her parents-in-law, Alvin and Jessie Curtis; her sister Gladys Roebuck; her siblings-in-law, Elaine Gunderson (Norman), Archer Holden, John Knowlson, Alton Curtis (Marjorie) and Gordon Brassington; and her great-nephew Rick Sheppard.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Kaczor of Edmonton; her grandsons, Jeremy Kaczor (Samantha) and Logan Kaczor of Edmonton; her siblings, Irene Knowlson of Lloydminster, Barbara Brassington of Paradise Valley and Alan Svean (Dianne) of Lloydminster; and her siblings-in-law, Lila Holden of Medicine Hat and Stanley Curtis (Inez) of Vermilion. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the First United Church (4918 52 Ave, Vermilion, AB T9X1S6).
