She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond McQuid; her parents, Alexander Castel and Mary Anne Castel; her grandson Robert McQuid; and her sisters, Mary McTavish and Mena Pierce.

She is survived by: her children, Allan McQuid (Evelyne), Lawrence McQuid (Beverly) and Dale McQuid (Darlene); her grandchildren, Cheryl Keats, Kimberly Doering (Chad), Lori McQuid, Kelly Sandor (Darin), Chris McQuid (Jennifer) and Jenna McQuid; and her great grandchildren, Dallas, Carson, Brylie, Akua, Kendyl, Avery, Kyle, Brittney and Tyler. She is also survived by Four Great, Great Grandchildren and Numerous nieces and nephews.
