With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gordon Pederson in Vermilion, Alberta, who passed away on August 11, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Jane Pederson; his parents, George Pederson and Lois Pederson; his nephews, Rob and Neil Young; and his siblings-in-law, Joan Haggen, Maldwyn Roberts and Spence Hempstock.
He is survived by: his daughters, Nicole Scammell (Neil), Kelly Pederson (Doug Warner) and Shannon Pederson; his grandchildren, Kaylee Fossen (Cory), Shania Scammell (Julia Tindale), Jeremy Scammell (Daphnie Sortland), Mackenzie Johnson (Brenna), Rylee Johnson (Kayla King), Cayden Johnson and Katie Warner; his great grandchildren, Carter and Maysa Fossen; his siblings, Sharon Hempstock, Pat McCulloch (Rick Ellerbeck), Lorna Pederson, Tim Pederson (Jane) and Bernie Pederson; and his sisters-in-law, Abby Young (Doug) and Lori Roberts. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
